This exhibition toured Victoria in 2006 and 2007 to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the National Trust in Victoria.
 exhibition catalogue It consisted of 34 pen and ink and watercolour sketches created by La Trobe during travels in Italy, Switzerland, North America, Mexico, Victoria and Tasmania. La Trobe was the first Lieutenant-Governor of the colony of Victoria, and a sketcher of no mean pretensions.
