Cultural Connotations develops, implements and manages creative, cultural and heritage projects.

We provide services, support and advice.

Our aim is to deliver the concepts and plans you want and need, on time and on budget.

Our team has extensive experience, working with art galleries, museums, government, artists, private clients, commercial organisations and academia.

We can support projects across Australia and internationally.

Annette is a board member of the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce Australia and the International Council of Museums Australia.

Annette Welkamp is the founding director of Cultural Connotations, and is an art and museum manager with over 20 years’ experience in the international and Australian cultural sectors.

qualifications
Master of Arts in Museum Management, University of Greenwich, London
Bachelor of Arts (Honours), The University of Melbourne
Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies, Victoria College, Melbourne (now Deakin University)
Bachelor of Economics, Monash University, Melbourne
