This exhibition showcased the textile works of Sara Thorn. Through these cloths the artist forged a connection between ancient textile traditions and a contemporary sensibility. Thorn's work is directly influenced by extensive travel and a Spanish ancestry. The display included silk jacquards produced in Italy, hand-embroidered drawings from India, and Pua Kumbu hand-woven ikat ritual cloths commissioned in Sarawak.
