The National Australia Bank's 150th anniversary was celebrated right next door to the Country Women's Association scone and tea stand at the 2008 Sydney Royal Easter Show. And at the Royal Melbourne Show the road train and the activities marquee were a great hit.

For the Sydney display, Cultural Connotations developed a popular and entertaining display which highlighted nab's connections with the NSW rural economy. In Melbourne, the focus of course was on Victoria.

The stands wer busy most days with children designing their own banknotes and trying to figure out how many pennies actually made up a pound. Parents were delighted to find a display that was entertaining, but didn't involve great heights or sugar additives.

In Sydney, the nab display was awarded the best sponsor stand category.
